The Barça Foundation was present, once again, in “La Ciutat dels Somnis”

From UP2YOU we organize and coordinate some of the activities carried out by the Barça Foundation in Catalonia, one of which is “La Ciutat dels Somnis”; possibly, the children’s event that gathers a greater number of visitors throughout the national territory during the Christmas dates.

“La Ciutat dels Somnis” is an event aimed at children so they can get to know the world of crafts from the inside. Recreating an urban space where we find all kinds of services, children can play and learn about what it means to be a methodological coordinator, a soccer player, a doctor, a television presenter, etc.

The activity of the Barça Foundation was located in the sports hall, where 3 boxes, 3 sports courts and 3 reflection spaces were installed in a 700m2 space, to accommodate a large number of participants.

The activity aims for children to reflect on issues such as bullying, refugees and social inclusion through sport. The 3-stroke methodology is applied: rules are set in relation to the chosen theme, the game is played and the result is reflected.
